DANIEL DAY-LEWIS CASTED IN LINCOLN BIO PIC
"Daniel Day-Lewis [not Liam Neeson] would have always been counted as one of the greatest of actors, were he from the silent era, the golden age of film or even some time in cinema's distant future. I am grateful and inspired that our paths will finally cross with Lincoln," said Steven Spielberg. "Throughout his career, he has been exceptionally selective in his choice of material [unlike Neeson, who did A-Team and, as if he didn't learn, is shooting fucking Battleship]," added Stacey Snider, "which makes us feel even more fortunate that he has chosen to join with us for 'Lincoln.'"

2-Wheeled Painting
Brooklyn-based designers Pepin Gelardi and Teresa Herrmann have designed a "Contrail," a receptacle filled with a colorful chalk-like fluid that turns bikes into paintbrushes.
The idea came out of the designers' wish for a way to show the biking community just how large of a community it is by visualizing the many crossing paths that cyclists take throughout cities.
See more @ the web site BikeContrail.com where it is billed as a "bicycle advocacy tool"

RETURN OF THE MOLE PEOPLE!!!!!
I remember them looking a lot differently from my years of studying SyFy novels in my local library, but truth none the less. It appears that Sin City has moved its lust fest underground as 1,000 residents have moved into flood tunnels below the strip. ( tunnel people )
DANCING ROBOT

NY TIMES - The exciting tale of a gregarious man.
LA TIMES - Dude, you cant dude a dude, dude. And this book manages to do that every time.
FAMOUS QUOTES FROM THE BOOK:
"Being with a client is like being in a marriage. Sometimes you get into it for the wrong reasons, and eventually they hit you in the face."
"When God closes a door, he opens a dress."
Advertising pioneer and visionary Roger Sterling, Jr., served with distinction in the Navy during World War II, and joined Sterling Cooper Advertising as a junior account executive in 1947. He worked his way up to managing partner before leaving to found his own agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, in 1963.
During his long and illustrious career, Sterling has come into contact with all the luminaries and would-be luminaries of the advertising world, and he has acquired quite a reputation among his colleagues for his quips, barbs, and witticisms.
Taken as a whole, Roger Sterling’s pithy comments and observations amount to a unique window on the advertising world—a world that few among us are privileged to witness first—hand—as well as a commentary on life in New York City in the middle of the twentieth century.

James Bond 007: GoldenEye
While most first person shooter fans have their attention focused this November on Activision's latest game in the Call of Duty series, another franchise held in Activision's first person shooter assets, James Bond 007: GoldenEye, is poised for a nostalgic comeback.
Playing GoldenEye on the Wii allows precision targeting with the wii-mote/nunchuck controller setup (according to this IGN reviewer...).
But if the mood strikes, you could break out this throwback/special edition/N64 replica controller for the Wii...
In gold of course...

This version may just be a rumor/prototype, but one can dream ...

FYI, GoldenEye

BIOSHOCK MEETS STAR WARS
I am all about mixes and blends and that is why I approve of this image. I mixed matched my socks this morning, so suck on that society! And yes I like a little variety in my pudding, that's just the way I live my life.

Newest Kiddie to the Block
A fellow Chiat employee, Jayanta Jenkins, shared a song with all of us via our public email. It's a song that became an overnight internet sensation because the tone, vocals, and attitude does not readily reflect that of the singer. Initially, the song reeks of maturity, superstardom, and experience. The singer of the track however is a bite-sized newcomer and the youngest seed of the Men in Black & Matrix actors, Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith, respectively. Her name is Willow Smith. She's 9 years-old and was signed to JayZ 's record label almost immediately after her track, Whip My Hair, was released on the Internet. Here's the video to that song:

NEW VILLIAN
Sorry, Dylan Baker, but it looks like your most monstrous film role will remain "that pedophile from Happiness." The actor, who paid his due playing Dr. Curt Conners in all the previous Spider-Man films--presumably so that he could eventually mutate into the character's evil alter ego, The Lizard--has been usurped by Rhys Ifans. The Wrap drops the knowledge that the actor will take on the CGI role.
Cookie
REPORT: "YOU had Alaska, YOU had Texas and I had Rhode Island." This was the metaphor used for the negotiation Mr. Carl Seaton made yesterday after he was so generously given a small portion of the chocolate chip cookie Parvin and myself split on Wednesday afternoon. The argument ended in oral moratorium from Seaton and has continued on into switchboard public debate as of today.
Carl had a statement to make about the situation at hand:
"I feel blatantly disregarded and set aside for this gross misrepresentation of equality as it pertains to cookies." -Seaton
As since, there have been some agreement among parties. Parvin made a peace offering of her chocolate chip cookie today. A surprising 50% went to Carl as a means of settling the disagreement. Carl still seemed a little unsettled, asking for more than was alloted to him, but for now things stable. Lets just hope it will stay this way for awhile. Who knows what will happen by 3pm when the sugar rush kicks in again.

Yuri Suzuki has made some fun looking toys that generate music and sounds from sources like cut-up vinyl records made into toy-train tracks, bar codes printed on pages and RGB information read by a scanner.
